Week 9
We started off this week with a teacher workday and enjoyed the opportunity to spend time together as a team. But we missed our students, and we’re so happy to have them back on Tuesday!
We are gearing up for some big events for the end of this month and the beginning of November. Our Fall Festival will take place on October 29th, and you’ll find more information below. The PTC is also putting together a Trunk-n-Treat Spooktacular event for the evening of the 29th. Families will decorate their trunks and provide a spot for kids to “trunk-n-treat” through the school’s parking lots. If you’d like to volunteer to decorate your trunk and hand out candy, please see below. If you’d like to join us that evening, we look forward to seeing you there!
The 29th is also the end of the first grading period, and the following week we’ll hold virtual parent/teacher conferences. Report cards will be available on Chalkable by the end of that week; we’ll provide details on how to access your child’s report card as we get close to the date.
Please note that we’ve updated the school calendar to include our School Picture Day on November 22nd. We’ll set up in the school gym for pictures; students Jr K and above should wear their uniforms. We’ll also take class photos and sibling pics.
As a friendly reminder, we require all parents and students to wear masks as they approach the building. Please don’t bring your child inside the red doors unless you are both wearing a mask. We sincerely appreciate your assistance in maintaining these standards of safety.
