Week 43

Kindergarten graduation rehearsal
Well, PWA families, we’ve reached the final week of the 2020-2021 school year! We’ll have more to say about the school year in next Friday’s email. In the meantime, we still have lots going on at school!

Test scores will go home on the final day of school, and we’re so proud of our students for how they fared. They did a great job these last few weeks. Report cards will also be available in Chalkable after 5 pm on June 18th.

Next week will feature spirit week activities in many classrooms, our Kindergarten graduation on Wednesday, our virtual 8th grade graduation on Thursday, and Field Day on Friday. We’re looking forward to celebrating an amazing year with our students.

Tomorrow you can find us at the Taste of Woodbridge Festival in Stonebridge, where PWA will have a booth set up. Stop by and say hello!  We’ll have balloons!

Our summer camp is shaping up to be a full and exciting one! There’s still time to register; see below for more information.

We hope to see you at the Taste of Woodbridge festival, and we look forward to a busy, fun final week of the school year.

Have a wonderful weekend, PWA families!

Kindergarten parents should have received an email with information about Wednesday’s graduation ceremony, and the final rehearsal on Tuesday, June 15th.
Join PWA teachers and staff members tomorrow at the Taste of Woodbridge Festival in Stonebridge! You’ll find our booth right across from the Apple Store. We hope to see you there!

We are so proud of this young lady that we just had to share her story! Aisha Khan is the Valedictorian of Woodbridge High School’s Class of 2021–and this year she was accepted to 5 Ivy League schools, all offering her a full scholarship.

Aisha is the daughter of former preschool teacher and forever friend of PWA, Sajila Khan. We are so inspired by both of these amazing women. Congratulations to Aisha, who will be attending Harvard University in the fall.

Friday, June 18th is the last day of school, and we’ll hold a field day for our students featuring games and stations, face painting, arts and crafts, and sports. We’ll provide a hot dog lunch for all students that day.

While the day will be for students only, we’d sincerely appreciate donations of water bottles and bagged snacks to hand out! These items may be brought to the front door any day next week.

We look forward to closing out the school year on a super fun way!
Summer camp begins for PWA students on June 21st! Our camp calendars are below. Students will work on math and language arts in the mornings at their own level, whether they’re ready to get a jump start on their rising grade, or they need some reinforcement. In the afternoons, we have lots of fun with water play days, field trips, in-house visits and shows, and more!

If you know any families who might be interested in our program, please help us spread the word. And of course, we hope to see you there!
