Week 18

Watching for snow
Dear PWA Families,

We had so much fun this week, with themed days (including pajama days and Funky Sweater Day!) and class parties, gift exchanges, and more. We’re so glad we got to share the joys of the season with your children, and we all feel lucky and thankful to be in school together. We hope you enjoy the pictures below of some of this week’s highlights.

Today we held our Principal’s Scholar Awards for Kindness. Congratulations to our recipients, who were recognized for their special kindnesses today. And thanks to all of our students, who are kind to one another every day and make our school community so special.

The holiday break is upon us, and next week we will be open for childcare through Christmas Eve; the following week, we’ll be open Dec. 28-31st. If you need care, please email the office with the days needed.

We know that this holiday season may bring visits with loved ones and friends, and we urge all our school families to take precautions, wear masks, and maintain physical distance. Let’s do our very best to kick off 2021 together in good health and safety here at school.

From all of us at PWA, we wish you joy and happiness over the holidays. May 2021 bring us all peace, good health, and prosperity.

Our current lunch menu and lunch packets can always be found in the buttons at the end of each weekly email. The lunch menu is also directly below.

If you send your child to school with lunch, please remember that we are an entirely nut-free school.

Spotted at school this week…our students aren’t the only ones having fun…pajama day in Mrs. Lewis and Dr. Plesa’s classes!… Mrs. Starr’s awesome second graders…Mrs. Ajeroh’s fun bunch…playing in the (barely there) snow…Mrs. Saissi’s adorable first-graders…Principal’s Scholar Awards as seen from Ms. Becca’s classroom–congratulations to Madelynn and all our recipients!…styling…getting creative in Ms. Monika’s class…party time in Ms. Heather’s Jr K…Ms. Tay’s class building gingerbread houses…so much cuteness in Ms. Letisha’s preschool class.
