Week 28
We had a great week at PWA–even the weather cooperated to get us back on track and down to business! We caught up on what we missed last week and moved right along. We also got lots of great pictures this week!
Students are finishing up their Black History projects in many classes, and our art teacher, Stephanie Cox, has created an amazing gallery of students’ artwork from this month, some of it honoring Black American artists, pictured above.
We celebrate Read Across America next week (March 1-5), with a variety of fun activities, lots of reading, and themed days. Please see below for more information.
Next Tuesday, March 2nd, most of our teachers and staff members will receive their second dose of the COVID vaccine. Their appointments are staggered throughout the day, and so we will be open for regular hours and have substitutes in classrooms as needed.
Have a wonderful weekend, PWA families!
Next week is Read Across America Week!! We’ll celebrate with fun themes and activities.
