Week 30
By now, you’ve hopefully heard the news that PWA will be closed for the next two weeks, from March 16th – March 27th. We plan to reopen on March 30th.
This was a very difficult decision to make, and it will be a hardship for all of us in the PWA family–parents, students, and staff. But with up to 200 children per day at our school, this is our best option for keeping our families and each other safe.
Elementary and middle school parents should be on the lookout for communications early next week from their child’s teacher. Our students will have assignments, and receive lessons at home for the next two weeks. They will be expected to complete their assignments, and to stay on track with their learning. Teachers will utilize a combination of email, online platforms, and face-to-face interaction to deliver instruction and content.
School administration will stay in touch throughout this period with any updates and needed information.
In the meantime, we send all of you our sincere wishes for good health and safety.

Our Krispy Kreme fundraiser is on hold for now, and will resume once things settle down. We will issue refunds to those who already put in their orders when we return to school.
Best wishes to the Martin, Marshall, and Thompson families as they embark on big moves this month! We’ll miss you, and we wish you the best! Please keep in touch.
The start of our Girls on the Run season will be postponed. More information to follow as we get it.
