The fall colors are in full swing, and we have some truly beautiful trees on our campus!
Cuteness was in abundance at school this week, as many of our students dressed up in their Halloween costumes. The staff and teachers really enjoyed seeing them all so excited.
November promises to be a busy month, with progress reports coming soon (available on November 6th) and parent teacher conferences on November 7th. Please check your child’s classroom door to sign up for a conference time.
Our annual Thanksgiving Luncheon is scheduled for November 16th; we’ll have a lunch feast that day, with turkey and all the trimmings. We hope you’ll join us! We’ll also have our raffle drawing at the event. Our raffle basket is growing–check it out at the front desk, and get your tickets! All proceeds go towards enhancing technology at PWA.
Please see the “Good to Know” section for more information on upcoming events this month.
Get your raffle tickets! They’re on sale now at the front desk for $2.00 each, or three for $5.00.
Our basket is growing, and we’ll continue accepting donations. So far, the basket contains gift cards from Starbucks and Taste of Tandoor, a portable bbq utensil set, an insulated Rubbermaid lunchbox, an umbrella in a bottle, and more! Second prize will be a $50.00 gift certificate to Taste of Tandoor, and third prize will be a candle package.

Our annual Thanksgiving Luncheon will be held on November 16th.
Students will get to enjoy a Thanksgiving meal, prepared by the fabulous Ms. Veronica, for lunch that day. There is no additional cost for those who purchase lunch packets; the cost is $5.00 for children who don’t regularly purchase lunch, and $7.00 for adults. All parents are welcome and encouraged to attend. We hope you’ll join us for this special event!
The PTC will also hold its raffle basket drawing at the luncheon!
Invitations with specific times and more details will be sent out soon. We ask that parents who plan to attend RSVP so that we may plan accordingly.
School pictures have been snapped, and the proofs will be available next week. Your child’s proofs will come home in their backpack, and you’ll have the opportunity to choose your favorites and place your order.
Make up, class photos, and sibling photos will be taken on Tuesday, November 13th. If this is not a regularly scheduled day for your child to attend, please bring them in for the class photo. We’ll have a schedule available before the date.
