What a long and busy week! Monday was an interesting day, as kids struggled to readjust to school routines after four days of family, food, and fun! By the end of the week, everyone was back into the swing of things.
We also celebrated NASA’s great achievement this week by learning about InSight.
Our Scholastic Book Fair has arrived! Look for the book room at the end of the preschool hall. The Fair runs until December 14th, and it’s a great opportunity to find something that will spark your child’s interest!
This weekend only, PWA will earn a whopping 50% of all online purchases made to our store! Now is a great time to pick up some holiday gifts, and help out our classrooms in the process. If you haven’t checked it out yet, we hope you will. The store offers so much more than candles!

Please remember that tuition is due on the 1st of every month. Tuition paid after the 5th of the month will incur a $50 late charge! So if you haven’t paid your child’s tuition yet (or don’t have a credit card authorization form on file with us) please be sure to make your payment at the front desk on Monday. Thank you for helping us pay the school’s bills on time!

The PTC is putting together a special show of appreciation for our teachers this holiday season, and we need your help.
We ask that you please contribute a gift card from any establishment, online or otherwise, for us to put on our teachers’ gift tree this year. At our teacher appreciation breakfast on December 20th, the teachers will get to select the gift cards of their choice from the tree.
We ask that all gift cards be in the amount of $10. You may purchase more than one, but as long as the amount is $10 we’ll be able to distribute the cards equitably. You may of course provide a separate personal gift for your child’s classroom teacher.
Thanks for helping us show our teachers how much they mean to us, and how much we value the work they do!
Seen around the school this week…..
Parents, grab some friends and enjoy a night out with adults while we watch your kids at no cost! We will be hosting a FREE Parents’ Night Out on December 7th from 5pm – 7pm! The children will watch a movie, enjoy hot dogs and popcorn and spend time with friends while you get to enjoy a couple quiet hours on the town. The children are welcome to come in their PJs and bring sleeping bags!
RSVP is mandatory so please sign up in the front office by December 4th. Staffing will be determined by the number of pre-registered participants. This night is a gift from teachers to parents, so please help the teachers out by registering.
All aftercare children can participate; please let the office know. If your child is not enrolled in the aftercare program, you must pick them up at dismissal and return at 5pm, or pay the hourly aftercare rate of $15/hr.

Our Winter Concert for Preschool and Kindergarten will take place on December 13th in the gym. Our older grades will perform in the spring.
The Preschool 2s and 3s will go on at 3:00 pm
The Jr K and Kindergarten will perform at 4:00 pm.
The Scholastic Book Fair arrives on Monday! Books make great Christmas gifts, and your purchases help us enhance our classroom and school libraries. Stop by the language lab at the end of the preschool hall to visit our bookstore between December 3rd and the 14th.
