Weekly PWA Family Email
Week 12
November 9th, 2018
We had a short but busy week here! The kids packed lots of activities and learning into their three days. And we even got one fabulous, sunny day for outside recess.
Please see below for updates concerning make up and class picture day, as well as the Thanksgiving luncheon, which is coming up next Friday!
And remember that we will be closed Monday, November 12th, in observance of Veterans Day. We honor all who have served, and who continue to serve, in our country’s armed forces.
A thank-you from our students to our active duty service men and women, and our nation’s veterans.

As you’ve undoubtedly noticed, the proofs from picture day did not not come home with your children this week. According to the photo company, they were of inferior quality and were sent back to be reproofed; however, we only received word of this today. We apologize sincerely for the delay.
As a result of this delay we have to reschedule our photo retakes, sibling photos, and whole school photo for Tuesday, November 20th. Photos will begin at 9:00 am, and once we’ve arranged a time for the whole school photo, we’ll let you know.
The company has assured us that we’ll have our proofs on Tuesday for distribution.
Our annual Thanksgiving Luncheon will be held on November 16th.
Students will get to enjoy a Thanksgiving meal, prepared by the fabulous Ms. Veronica, for lunch that day. There is no additional cost for those who purchase lunch packets; the cost is $5.00 for children who don’t regularly purchase lunch, and $7.00 for adults. All parents are welcome and encouraged to attend. We hope you’ll join us for this special event!
The PTC will also hold its raffle basket drawing at the luncheon!
Please RSVP so that we may plan accordingly. You can RSVP by clicking the button below, or signing up in the office.
