Week 31
Dear PWA Families,
As I write this from my office in our quiet school, I’m thinking of all our PWA families and hoping you’re weathering this storm in safety and good health. I know I speak for the teachers and the rest of the staff when I say we miss your children very much, and can’t wait to see them again when we make it to the other side of this.
During this closure, our dedicated teachers have been working hard to create new learning environments, and to provide lessons, homework, videos, and activities to maintain momentum with the curriculum. I hope having communications and interactions with teachers, as well as activities from school, provides some sense of normalcy and familiarity for your children in the midst of this upheaval.
As of today, we still plan to reopen on March 30th. However, we are closely monitoring all guidelines from the government and CDC and are prepared to make changes to our plans if required. We will update our school families immediately if anything changes.
