Weekly Family Email
Week 34
April 12, 2019

Today was School Beautification Day, and our students made the most of the temperate weather and the beautiful flowers, herbs, and veggies donated by parents. We have lots of pictures to share below. The grounds are looking so lovely here. And now we are happily anticipating giving the students the chance to harvest veggies and enjoy healthy, delicious goodies from our herb, vegetable, and berry patches!

We also had our Science Fair this week, and students turned in some very impressive projects! We’d like to congratulate our winners, listed below. We’d also like to give special thanks to Tiffany Burroughs for organizing the Science Fair this year, and to our volunteer judges, Rama Alattar and Nicole Adkins.

And that’s a wrap on week 34…let Spring Break commence! For those of you going off on adventures, we wish you a wonderful, relaxing vacation. And we look forward to having those of you who’ve signed up for spring break camp here with us next week!

We’re so proud of our elementary and middle students for all of their terrific science fair projects! We all learned a lot from the process, and enjoyed seeing young scientific minds at work!

Special congratulations to our winners!

Spotted at school this week….

First and Second grades went on a field trip to Dollar Tree for a hands-on lesson about “needs” versus “wants”… our sweet infants and toddlers…

Heartfelt congratulations to the Green family on the arrival of baby Sloane! We can’t wait to meet her!

Our lost and found box is overflowing! Please have a look to see if any items belong to your child. The box is located just inside the doors to the elementary/middle wing.
