Week 4

PWA looking pretty at sunset
Week four at PWA was shorter than most but action-packed. We all enjoyed the beautiful weather this week with some outside lunches and time on the playgrounds.

We held two socially-distanced events for our preschool parents outside the school this week, and we hope those parents who had a chance to join us found them informative. Big thanks to our preschool and Jr K teachers for their hard work!

On Wednesday, September 15th, we’ll observe International Dot Day at school. All students are welcome to deck themselves out in dots! You can find more information on International Dot Day below.

You’ll also find information below on PWA’s Parent/Teacher Council, which we’re starting back up this month! Please email Dr. Nykwest for more information, or if you’re interested in joining.

Have a wonderful weekend, PWA families!

We will always remember.

After a year’s hiatus, we are so excited to get our Parent-Teacher Council going once again! Our PTC plans fundraising events, special events at school, and ways to assist our teachers. We meet once per month at 5:30 PM, and it’s a great way to get to know other members of our school community. Parents from all parts of the school, from infants and toddlers to middle school, are welcome!
